My Story

I was born in Brazil, spent 14 years in Japan from the age of 8 to 22, and I live in Florida.

Before diving into design, I studied American Literature and Linguistics, and worked as a bilingual analyst. Growing up I was always the creative kid who doodled everywhere, and once I discovered Procreate, it all made sense. I realized my happiest moments came from creating and solving problems. When I found UX/UI design, it felt like the perfect match. It brought together everything I love: creativity, research, and the chance to make a real difference in people's lives. With the support of my husband, I took a leap and began my journey into design.

I design with empathy at the heart of everything I do. I focus on UX research, UI design, information architecture, prototyping, and illustration. My process is visual, people-centered, and always fueled by feedback (and plenty of matcha). A great design should feel smooth and a little bit magical, so intuitive that you finish a task without even realizing it. ✨

When I’m not designing, you can find me hanging out with my dog, reading a book, or going on long walks to clear my head and spark new ideas.

BA in American Literature + UX/UI design

I graduated from Meiji Gakuin University in Tokyo with a degree in American Literature. Studying literature sharpened my research and critical thinking skills, and taught me how to read between the lines. I learned that behind every story are emotions, experiences, and historical context just like behind every user action is a real person with real needs.

Empathy was a major part of my education, and it’s also at the heart of UX design. In user testing, people don’t always say exactly what they mean, but their body language, expressions, and interactions speak volumes. My background trained me to think critically, look beyond words, and truly understand the human behind the feedback.

Bilingual Analyst + UX/UI design

As a bilingual analyst, I worked with large volumes of data under tight daily deadlines. Precision and attention to detail were essential. That experience taught me how to work under pressure while keeping quality high. So when it comes to UX/UI deadlines, I’m ready!

Another key part of my role was staying up to date with constantly evolving government regulations. In such a fast-paced environment, being static wasn’t an option. I had to adapt quickly and continuously grow. That mindset is something I bring into UX/UI as well. With new tools, trends, and user needs always emerging, I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and evolving right along with the field.
